I am a keen amateur photographer living on the Isle of Wight and have a passion for taking photos and travel.

Since retiring from the NHS after 39 years, I have been concentrating on travel photography.

I have just had 4 enjoyable days at Bestival with my friend Katharine, where we had a great time taking pictures of all the people and they certainly knew how to party.

My last trip was to Svalbard also known as Spitsbergen where the photography was challenging as you were taking a lot of the photos from zodiacs and at times it was very cold. It was billed as an explorer expedition and it was certainly that, as the weather ranged from mild sunny days to gale force winds. This is the third trip that I have been with Steve Davey who runs photo tours, the other two being Morocco and Jordan.

I am currently documenting Wootton Bridge as I have been taken photos of the village over the course of 30 years and it is lovely to compare then and now.

My style of photography is reportage as I do like to tell a story with my photographs.
